Contacts CRM

Many of you may have noticed that there wasn’t a Pax Chatter posted for February. Let me first take a step back so you’ll understand exactly why and where our development team is planning to travel in its journey through 2024.

Looking at what MHParks.com is today compared to when it was a simple concept only 3 years ago, I am truly in awe of what my team has built for our users. But just like most entrepreneurs I’m constantly looking for ways to improve our site so that it continues to provide an exceptional user experience while also raising the bar of our mobile home park records.

Back in the early days of our development I saw our platform through the eyes of a frustrated park investor. To put it simply, I was fed up with not having tools to help me research parks. Today, I see MHParks.com through the eyes of our users that work throughout the mobile home park industry.

You see, from the moment we first launched MHParks.com in September of 2022, virtually every revision our team has made actually came as a direct result of interacting with our users.

As an example, it was our users’ feedback that drove the development of our new Contacts CRM solution and its integration with Park Sites. While we can’t always accommodate for every user’s vision, from the smallest suggestion to the largest complaint, I truly absorb it all so that our site continues to improve.

Something’s Brewing

Every entrepreneur has it. That moment you lean back in your chair and admire what was once only a simple idea on a piece of paper. Then the next thing you know…BAM! You’re hit with another all empowering “Ah ha”!

In that moment suddenly everything else turns as silent as a snowy winter’s night, and you see a new vision that turns your product into something next level!

You see, I’ve designed everything you see in MHParks.com, but while my team celebrated the release of Contacts CRM, I was hit with one of those “Ah ha” moments. Maybe it came from talking with our users or maybe it came from Contacts CRM providing me with a totally new perspective. Either way, it was an idea I knew I had to get some feedback on.

Cuss and Discuss

As I shared my “Ah ha” moment with the team, it didn’t get the warm reception I thought it would. Afterall, this idea is a pretty radical change to MHParks.com, and they hadn’t even had time to finish basking in the success of our latest accomplishment.

Even my wife first thought I had gone nuts! While she didn’t say it, I know that look…lol It was the same look she gave me when I first brought up buying a mobile home park back in 2005.

I can’t say that I blame her or my team. Afterall they all know firsthand the amount of hard work it took over the last three years to get MHParks.com to this point.

So rather than trying to describe my new vision, I spent late January and early February engulfing myself with mocking up a totally new vision. This way I could not only show it to my team, but I could also run it by several of our existing users.

When our team met to go over the new designs, they were all unanimously on board. Even the users I shared the idea with embraced its simplicity and improvements.

So, What’s Next?

Many of our long-term users probably already have seen the pattern. When our team goes quiet; we’re building something that radically changes MHParks.com for the better. This moment is no different.

Over the coming months MHParks.com may seem a little quiet from a marketing perspective. However, that shouldn’t be mistaken for being absent. It just means we’re super focused on building what’s next.

What exactly will change for our users when we release this new version? Well, all I will say at this point is that it takes everything you love about MHParks.com and puts it into a much cleaner and simpler dashboard while ensuring our park data remains even more reliable. It’s also going to slightly change my teams business model so that we can serve our users better.

I’ll also add that once it’s released you may not even recognize us at first glance, but rest assured it will be a seamless transition for everyone using MHParks.com.

As for its timeline, so that my team time has the time to work I don’t have any announcement to make as of today. Once we have a specific date, we’ll be sure to announce it far and wide to everyone.

Until its release just know that we may not be sending out as many promotional emails or interacting on our social media as much. Instead, our team will be quietly working hard to build something very special for our users.

As always feel free to contact us at support@mhparks.com for any questions you may have about our current version.
